  • Draw a polyline.
  • Start Roof Support and set the roof support parameters.
  • The add-on creates and places roof support objects along the polyline automatically.

Where to find it

Archicad menu: Design → … → Roof Support

  • Places supports alongside the given polyline.
  • Uses Archicad default purlin, post and strut objects.
  • Set level, height, and post distance before generating.
