A simple way to dimension building elements in a section or elevation
window.


  • Create dimensions automatically in section or elevations window.
  • Create dimensions for distances of the walls with one click.
  • Create dimensions for distances of the slabs with one click.
  • Create elevation dimensions for the buildings.

  • Mark static dimensions. (Dimensions which are not linked to
    any building elements, and will not be updateted automatically
    by ArchiCAD.)
  • Not supported from ArchiCAD 18.

  • OS: Windows, MAC OSX 10.4 or higher.

Create elevation dimension line:

1. Select element type for dimension.

2. Select dimension line type to create
on both side of your building.

3. Click the "Create dimensions for
connected elems" if you would like
to have dimension point for
connected walls for example:

The dimension lines will be created next to your building based on your input automatically!

Create horisontal dimension line:

1. Select element type for dimension.

2. For columns you can choose the center
or the edges to measure.

3. If you choose the "Manual location
setting" the dimension line will be placed
where you clicked and those elements
will be measured which are crosses
the line.

4. If you click one ore more stories the
dimension lines will be placed from the
stories with given distance (L1) and
those elements will be measured which
are crosses the lines.

The dimension lines will be created next to your building based on your input automatically!

Create vertical dimension line:

1. Select element type for dimension.

2. Select dimension line type to create.

3. Click where you want to place the
dimension lines.
Those elements will be measured which
are crosses the lines.
